Nintendo recently shared a small but very important tip about Nintendo Switch usage on its Japanese customer support Twitter account. They advise that Switch owners should charge their consoles at least once every six months. Assuming you don’t, you may not ever be able to charge the battery again and it will no longer work.

A simple but important warning.

That sounds harsh (and kind of alarming) but I imagine that nearly all of you reading this post use your Switch very frequently, and need to charge it regularly. If you happen to know someone who doesn’t play as often though, this information may come in handy and save them an expensive heartache.

I'm a mature gamer. (nearly 47!) I can be opinionated and sarcastic, but I'm very laid back. And I love Nintendo more than any forty-something probably should. (They did help raise me.) I'm also the Editor-in-chief, here at The Nintendo Nomad. Hit me up anywhere you can find me on social media. I'm open to talking about almost any topic (because, politics...).
