The Game Awards 2019 is only a few weeks away, and the nominees for each category have been announced. Missing out on last year’s Awards ceremony, Super Smash Bros. Ultimate is making the most of its opportunity this year as it is nominated in three categories, including Game Of The Year. As for some other first-party titles, The Legend Of Zelda: Link’s Awakening has been nominated in two categories and Luigi’s Mansion 3 nominated in one. In case you haven’t already seen the complete list, I won’t spoil all of the nominations. I’d rather let you check the list out for yourself.

Below, I’ve compiled a list of all the categories that Nintendo related games (highlighted in bold) have been nominated in. (Including one category that Nintendo Switch games sweep!) Please be sure to let me know what your favorites are in each category, by leaving a comment at the end of the post.

I'm a mature gamer. (nearly 47!) I can be opinionated and sarcastic, but I'm very laid back. And I love Nintendo more than any forty-something probably should. (They did help raise me.) I'm also the Editor-in-chief, here at The Nintendo Nomad. Hit me up anywhere you can find me on social media. I'm open to talking about almost any topic (because, politics...).
