My name is Chris. I go by the handle ChrisUnseen on the various social media platforms. Welcome to my blog, The Nintendo Nomad.

I have been playing videogames since the age of 5 and I was given an Atari 2600. My hobby grew into an obsession when I received a Nintendo Entertainment System (NES) for a birthday/Christmas gift. I instantly became a lifelong fan of Nintendo and their way of approaching game development.

What you can expect here.

I’ve now found what I think is the perfect gaming platform in the Nintendo Switch. It’s hybrid nature allows me to play my favorite games whenever the urge strikes. I now own more games on my Nintendo Switch, than I have for any other console I’ve ever owned. If things continue, I’ll end up having more games on the Switch than the rest combined.

I’ve decided to begin sharing my experiences by keeping this blog. I’ll be sharing my sometimes divisive opinions on the world of Nintendo gaming. (I’m no fanboy who thinks Nintendo can do no wrong.) I’ll be publishing reviews of games I actually spend time playing myself. And they’ll be plenty of other gaming related posts mixed in for good measure. You can also expect content focusing on Mental Health issues and how they are connected to the world of videogames. (Hint: it may be more relevant, and important, than some people realize.)

I’m not trying to be a news source. Just a passionate gamer sharing his views. I hope you enjoy!

I encourage everyone to reach out and share their thoughts about the site and, as expected, check me out on any of my social media accounts. Good or bad, I hope to hear from all of you!

Welcome to The Nintendo Nomad! Thanks for stopping by. I truly hope you enjoy your time here.

I'm a mature gamer. (nearly 47!) I can be opinionated and sarcastic, but I'm very laid back. And I love Nintendo more than any forty-something probably should. (They did help raise me.) I'm also the Editor-in-chief, here at The Nintendo Nomad. Hit me up anywhere you can find me on social media. I'm open to talking about almost any topic (because, politics...).
